The Infantile Mortality Rate shows an increase this year and stands at
the figure of 50.7.
The Maternal Mortality Rate (3.0) remains the same as last year, which
is fairly constant for Edmonton. The incidence of Puerperal Fever and
Pyrexia continues to increase.
In conclusion, I wish to record my thanks to the members of the Council
and various Committees for the kindness and courtesy extended to me during
the past year, and also to thank the staff for their loyal co-operation throughout
the year.
