Dentures.
There were 37 dentures supplied, and of these 13 were assisted by the
Committee.
Municipal Milk Supply.
Towards the end of the year the Committee extended the scope of the
Milk Scheme by allowing dried milks, such as Trufood and Lactogen, to be
supplied in place of cow's milk, when recommended by the doctor in charge
of the Infant Welfare Clinics. This arrangement is of great advantage to the
mothers, and the full extent of the added facility will be revealed during 1937.
Actual number of people who applied for milk during 1936, 452. Of this
number 75 were expectant mothers.
