Food and Drugs control continues to ensure a high degree of purity
in products available for sale on and off shop premises in the district
and it is noteworthy that no cases of dirty milk bottles were recorded
during the year—the first for many years. There can be no doubt
that the time and energy put into the inspection of food premises and
sampling is very worth while; although like so much Public Health
work it cannot by its very nature attract the commendation that it
deserves.
Finally my sincere thanks to every member of my staff for another
year's work.
C. M. Scott,
Medical Officer of Health
