92 samples of milk were purchased and submitted for bacteriological
examination to the Ministry of Health Public Health Laboratory at
Coppetts Wood.
There were only two unsatisfactory samples.
ICE CREAM
Two applications were received for the registration of premises for
the sale of ice cream. The premises and equipment being satisfactory
the applications were granted.
92 Samples of ice cream were obtained and submitted for bacteriological
examination. All the samples were reported Provisional
Grade 1.
This is the second successive year that I have been able to report
all the samples of ice cream taken during the year as being Grade 1.
There are no premises manufacturing ice cream for sale in the
district. All ice cream is obtained from large wholesale firms.
