for their observations. It is very satisfactory to note that the
number of unsatisfactory samples shows a decrease to 8 from 9
last year, or a reduction from 9% to 7% and compares with
18% in 1942, and 33% in 1941.
Meat Inspection.
The requirements of the Public Health (Meat) Regulations,
1924, have been duly observed as regards the butchers' shops in
the district.
Inspection of Other Foods.
All restaurants, snack bars, fried fish shops and other places
where food is prepared have been visited and their kitchens and
cooking utensils inspected for cleanliness.
