FOREWORD
Mr. Mayor, Aldermen and Councillors.
1971 has been characterized by a steady increase in the volume of
work undertaken by existing services rather than by innovation. As
such, it has been an extremely busy time and I would like to thank
both the members of those committees of the Council concerned with
its health services together with the staff of the department for their
help during the year.
