There were no cases of acute encephalitis, anthrax, cholera, diphtheria, leptospirosis, ophthalmia neonatorum,
plague poliomyelitis relapsing fever smallpox tetanus, typhus and yellow fever.
*The following diseases ceased to be notifiable as from 1st October, 1968 - acute influenzal pneumonia, acute primary
pneumonia, acute rheumatism, erysipelas, membranous croup and puerperal pyrexia.
