Mr. Savage retired from the service of the Regional Hospital Board on the 30th June, 1968 and, in
conformity with the policy already described above, no new consultant was appointed to cover the Ealing
clinics. From the 1st July all children requiring ear, nose and throat consultant services were referred to
their general practitioners or with their consent, to a hospital ear, nose and throat department.
CHILD GUIDANCE
The Consultant Psychiatrist to the Child Guidance Centre is Dr. Portia Holman M. D. , F. R. C. P. ,
D. P. M. who is, together with her full time Registrar and part-time clinical assistant, an officer of the
North West Metropolitan Hospital Board. The remaining staff are council officers of the Education
Department. The service is conducted from the main clinic in Madeley Road, Ealing and from three
sub clinics at Avenue Road, Acton; Northolt Grange, Northolt; and Villiers Road, South all.
