The other improvement was the extension of the scheme for the provision of
incontinence pads and protective clothing. These are now issued by the home nursing
service to all those patients whom the Supervisor of Home Nursing considers are best
helped in this way whether or not they are having other forms of nursing. During the
year, 34 "non-nursing" patients were provided with incontinence pads.
