In the case of the three samples which were not completely satisfactory, the foodstuffs
concerned were surrendered for disposal by the Department.
MIDDLESEX COUNTY COUNCIL ACT, 1950, SECTION 11
Under this Section, four persons were registered during the year for the sale of food
from carts, barrows, other vehicles, etc., bringing the total number on the Register
at 31st December, 1962, to 39.

HOUSING STATISTICS

1. Inspection of dwelling-houses during the year:
(1) Total number of dwelling-houses inspected for housing defects (under Public Health or Housing Acts)1,675
(2) Number of dwelling-houses (included under sub-head (1) above) which were inspected and recorded under the Housing Act, 19572
(3) Number of dwelling-houses found to be in a state so dangerous or injurious to health as to be unfit for human habitation-
