continued with the aid of a grant from the County Council,
and in addition the service has been augmented by a scheme
emFloying County Council chiroFodists working at clinics.
The service has been extended from catering for old
FeoFle only to include exFectant and nursing mothers and
the Fhysically handicaFFed. The British Red Cross Society
has administered the domiciliary side of the service for
the assistance of housebound old FeoFle.
Frovision is made for a charge of 4/~ to be made, but
in most instances this is waived.
