There were more changes in staff in 1959 than for
several years and longer gaps between resignations and
replacements The six months' gap between Dr. Ogden's
departure and Dr. Harrold's arrival meant fewer cases
treated, a damaging interruption of treatment for many
children and a long wait for a diagnostic interview for
others.
