Improvements under Section 38 of the Shops Act, 1950,
relating to the health and comfort of shop workers were
carried out in 127 instances:

Rodent Control in Sewers
In accordance with the requirements of the Ministry
of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (Infestation Control
Division), maintenance treatments of the soil sewers in
the Borough were carried out during March. May and October.
