In the following four cases proceedings were instituted
under Section 9 of the Food and Drugs Act. 1938
Rodent droppings in bread roll - Fined £5 Costs £10.10.0d.
Insect in bread Fined £5. Costs £1.1.0d.
Cigarette end in bread Fined £5 Costs £5.5.0d.
Used bandage in bread Fined £25 Costs £5.5.0d.
A further summons was issued against the owner of a
bakery in respect of offerees under Section 13 of the Act.
The hearing was adjourned and the summons was later with
drawn as the necessary work had been completed
