Conditions of Laundry Service
In order to comply with the provisions of Section 84 of the
Public Health Act, 1936, only those articles should be sent to the
Ealing Borough Council's Public Health Laundry which are in such
a condition as " to render their cleansing necessary to prevent
injury, or danger of injury, to the health of any person in the
premises
The relatives or some person able to accept responsibility
is instructed in the use of the containers and they are informed
at what time the Council van will be calling to pick up
soiled linen. It has been found in practice that a twice weekly
collection and distribution seems to cover adequately the needs of
