HOSPITALS.
Isolation Hospital.
The Clayponds Isolation Hospital at South Ealing, which is
under the control of the Ealing and Brentford & Chiswick Hospitals
Committee, has a normal capacity of 142 beds. At present 34 beds
are retained for the treatment of cases of infectious disease, the
remainder of the hospital being utilised as a Grade A1 Emergency
Hospital with 200 beds.
Maternity Hospital.
The Perivale Maternity Hospital of 43 beds is also under the
Joint Hospitals Committee. Throughout the year this hospital
was made use of in a normal manner, the accommodation being
fully booked throughout the year.
