SANITARY CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE BOROUGH.
aPublic Mortuary.—As recorded in the previous annual
report, steps had been taken in regard to the building of a new
mortuary and these had gone so far that tenders bad been obtained.
In view of the outbreak of war, however, further action on the
matter was postponed.
Sanitary Inspection of the Borough.—The following is
a summary of the work carried out by the Sanitary Inspectors
during the year:—
