Information from the school medical records is given on
application by medical practitioners under the National Health
Insurance (Juvenile Contributors & Young Persons) Act, 1937
Section 6.
MISCELLANEOUS.
It is usual to group under this heading the medical examination
which are made of candidates prior to their appointment on the
teaching staff of the Education Committee and of other candidates
on appointment to various branches of the Council's technical and
clerical staff and of manual workers. All these examinations
are carried out by the school medical staff assisted by the school
nurses. During the year 61 teachers and 214 othei candidates
were examined.
