Population.—The population of the Borough at the middle
of 1936 is estimated by the Registrar General to be 145,000. This
estimate of population compares with the figure of 137,550 at
the middle of 1935. The Registrar General, therefore, estimates
that the population of Ealing has increased by 7,450 in the
