PROVISION OF MEALS.
Information is obtained periodically regarding the number of children having milk and the figures since 1st October, 1934, when the price of milk in school was halved, have been as follows :

The number of children having milk on the 1st October, 1935,
has been sub-divided in the following table to show the number
and percentage having milk in the various departments of the
schools. The table indicates that two-thirds of the younger
children are receiving milk :
