manner in which the home concerned was being conducted and
because a condition imposed at the time of registration, that the
home should be in the charge of a resident qualified nurse, was not
being complied with.
Four applications for renewal of certificates of exemption in
respect of voluntary hospitals and homes were granted.
The nursing homes in the Borough are visited regularly by
the Assistant Medical Officer who acts as Inspector of Midwives,
a total of 58 visits being made during the year.
