Act, 1930:
(1) Number of separate tenements or underground
rooms in respect of which Closing Orders were
made -
(2) Number of separate tenements or underground
rooms in respect of which Closing Orders were
determined, the tenement or room having been
rendered fit —
During the year a total of 2,171 new houses were built in
the Borough. Of this number 2,168 were constructed by private
enterprise, while the remaining three were houses provided by
the Council.
