PREVALENCE OF, AND CONTROL OVER, INFECTIOUS
DISEASES.
The numbers of the various infectious diseases notified in the
Borough are indicated in Table V and are compared with those for
the previous ten years. As will be seen from the Table, the
total number of notifications received was the highest since 1922,
this being due to the large number of cases of scarlet fever which
occurred.
