EMPLOYMENT OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PERSONS.
The number of boys and girls employed out of school hours in accordance with the Byelaws with respect to the Employment of Children is given in the following list, together with the nature of the employment:—

All employed children were medically inspected during the year
and 38 were found to be in such a condition of health that their
employment was discontinued.
Two children were found in the course of routine medical
inspection to be employed without being registered under the
Byelaws.
MISCELLANEOUS.
All medical examinations made at the Health Centres, including
those of children referred by the Education Committee, HeadTeachers,
School Enquiry Officers and School Nurses are included
under this term.
