PREVALENCE OF, AND CONTROL OVER,
ACUTE INFECTIOUS DISEASE.
In Table IV are indicated the numbers of the various infectious
diseases notified during the year. Diphtheria provided 61 cases,
a slight increase over the previous year, and scarlet fever 123
cases, a decrease over the previous year, and the lowest number
since 1918.
