PREVALENCE OF, AND CONTROL OVER,
ACUTE INFECTIOUS DISEASE.
In Table IV. are indicated the numbers of the various infectious
diseases notified during the year. It will be seen that there were
56 cases of diphtheria and 142 of scarlet fever, both great decreases
on the numbers for the previous year.
