2.—The Central Aid Society has been of great assistance
in obtaining treatment for crippled children of
all ages. This treatment has included sanatorium,
hospital, or convalescent home treatment, no matter
what the cause of the crippling may have been. The
help of this Society, however, has been sufficient to meet
the needs of but a few of the cases, and the necessary
treatment has in many cases been too long deferred
or insufficient. The Middlesex County Council is now
dealing with the treatment of tuberculosis by sanatorium
or hospital treatment.
