Child Guidance
A total of 79 children from Dagenham were seen at the Romford Child Guidance
Clinic. There is a waiting list of 15 children.
Speech Therapy
The Speech Therapy Department, which treats children with a speech impediment
(both school and pre-school children) continues to employ two full-time speech therapists
serving in six separate clinics. Added to this, Miss Symes worked for one term at the
Kingsley Hall Nursery for Handicapped pre-school children, treating three spastics, and
one case of undiagnosed speech disorder, of which on the latter warranted continued
weekly therapy at Five Elms Clinic.
