RIDING ESTABLISHMENTS ACT, 1939
There are two riding establishments in the Borough; these are inspected annually
by the Council's Veterinary Surgeon. Conditions have been found to be satisfactory.
DISEASES OF ANIMALS (WASTE FOODS) ORDER, 1957
Licences were granted to operate plant and equipment for the boiling of waste foods
at four piggeries. Legal proceedings were instituted in respect of the use at a piggery of
waste foods which had not been boiled in accordance with the provisions of the Order.
A fine of £25 with £5 costs was imposed.
