These are the children on whom a special watch must be kept by the school medical
officers and school nurses for any deterioration or inability to manage in the normal
schools. This extension of the scheme for care of the handicapped is, I feel, of great
value.
Those children more severely handicapped are referred for special educational treatment
at different schools, both day and residential.
