Smoke Abatement
Observations were taken throughout the year; no serious cases
of pollution were recorded.
Bacteriological Sampling of Milk
During the year 73 samples of milk were submitted for
examination and two were found to be unsatisfactory.
Ice Cream
Bacteriological Sampling. During the year 38 samples of ice
cream were submitted for analysis and eight were found to be
unsatisfactory.
Registration of Premises. During the year 20 applications for
the storage and sale of ice cream were granted. In all cases the
provision on the premises of running hot water is required. One
application was refused because of the lack of cleansing facilities
available on the premises.
