Smoke Abatement
Additional boilers have been installed at a large industrial
firm in the Borough which in past years has been the source of a
smoke nuisance. This has resulted in considerable improvement.
Bacteriological Sampling of Milk
During the year 104 samples of milk were submitted for
examination and eleven were found to be unsatisfactory.
Ice Cream
Bacteriological Sampling. During the year 91 samples of ice
cream were submitted for analysis and nine were found to be
unsatisfactory.
Registration of Premises. During the year 49 applications for
the storage and sale of ice cream were granted. In all cases the
provision on the premises of running hot water is required.
