continued to give of their best. There have been a few changes,
one of which was the resignation of the Deputy Medical Officer
of Health, Dr. H. B. Carter'Locke. I would also mention how
much the interest and help of the members of the Committee
concerned, with particular reference to the Chairman, are valued,
and state that the burden of administration of my department has
thus been lightened.
