Ten slaughtermen were licensed during the year in
this area.
Bakehouses.
There are nine bakehouses in the district; to these,
67 visits were paid during the year.
Food Shops.
658 visits were paid to butchers' shops, 444 to fish
shops, 221 to provision shops, 144 to dairies and milkshops,
115 to greengrocers' shops, 165 to cafes, 38 to
confectioners and 73 to other food shops.
