Strictly speaking none of the above cases should be
regarded as true instances of this condition as they do
not present the three clinical symptoms, and from the
nature of the attacks apparently they were not invaded
with the usual organisms associated with food poisoning.

Sale of Food and Drugs.
These Acts are administered by the Essex County
Council. During the year, 311 samples were analysed,
and proceedings were taken in three instances. In two
cases costs of 10s. 0d. were imposed and in the other
case the defendant was fined £2 and 6s. 0d. costs.
