and at King George Out -Patient Department. In
addition, an Inspection Clinic is held on Monday
mornings and Thursday afternoons at the Dagenham
Clinic, on Wednesday mornings and Tuesday and
Friday afternoons at the Becontree Clinic and at the
Out- Patient Department on Monday afternoons and
Friday mornings.
Refraction Clinics and Dental Sessions are held as
required at the Dagenham and the Becontree Clinics.
Tuberculosis Clinic.
A Tuberculosis Clinic is held every Monday morning
and Thursday afternoon at the King George Hospital
Out-Patient Department. A Tuberculosis Officer of
the Essex County Council is in attendance.
Venereal Diseases.
There is no local treatment provided for persons
suffering from Venereal Diseases. Provision is made
under the London and Home Counties Scheme, the
nearest treatment centre being the London .
Orthopaedic Clinics.
By arrangement with the Essex County Council,
children who fall under the provisions of our Maternity
and Child Welfare Scheme are referred to the
Orthopaedic Surgeon ; an allocation of costs is made
which is based on the proportion of attendances of
school children and those under five years of age.
