June, 1936, but dealers were permitted to continue to
use the previous designations until the 31st December,
1936.
The designations have been reduced to three in
number, namely:—"Tuberculin Tested" which has
replaced "Certified" and "Grade A" (T.T.);
"Accredite" which is of a similar standard to the
original Grade "A" ; and " Pasteurised."
The method of determining the purity of milk by
plate counts has been substituted by a colour test in
the case of "Tuberculin Tested" and "Accredited"
milks.

99 satisfactory samples of milk, the proportion of
unsatisfactory samples being one in nearly 31/3.
