Pemphigus, Puerperal Sepsis and Puerperal
Pyrexia.
Remarks concerning the above notifiable diseases
are contained in the section of the report dealing with
Maternity and Child Welfare.
Public Health (Prevention of Tuberculosis) Regulations,
1925 and Public Health Act, 1925,
Section 62.
No case arose during the year requiring action under
the above Regulations and Act.
Tuberculosis After-Care Association.
This Association has continued its activities
thioughout the year. Members of the Association are
allotted certain patients, on whom they report
periodically, when the results of their visits are communicated
to the Committee, and in many cases milk
and other supplements to their diet are granted. This
Association does a great deal of most valuable work in
the area, and the members deserve the thanks of the
community.
Prevention of Blindness.
No special action was taken under section 66 of the
Public Health Act, 1925, for the prevention of blindness,
or lor the treatment of persons suffering from any
disease or injury to the eye.
Cancer.
Cancer was assigned as the cause of death in 60
Persons, the affected sites are tabulated in the table
on the following page:—
