Only two children who had received any form of
treatment under this scheme were notified as Diphtheria,
neither of whom had completed the prescribed course.
In the first ease, one dose only had been given less than
a month before the onset of the disease and in the second
case the first dose only had been given and that five days
before the onset. In both instances, insufficient time
had elapsed in which immunity could be established.
It is satisfactory to be able to report that complete
recovery occurred in each case.
