Schools and Diphtheria.
A table has been prepared showing the age groups
of the children affected and the schools attended by
them. With the exception of Marsh Green Infants and
Junior Mixed, the cases were spread fairly consistently
throughout the area. An immunization campaign was
undertaken at this school during 1936, and the response
from the parents when this treatment was offered showed
that in many cases there was a willingness to have the
children protected.

A total of 189 school-children were notified as suffering from Diphtheria.
