Slaughter of Animals Act, 1933.
13 slaughtermen were licensed during the year
in this area.
Bakehouses.
There are nine factory bakehouses in the district;
to these, 45 visits were paid during the year.
Food Shops.
341 visits were paid to butchers' shops, 241 to fish
shops, 82 to provision shops, 48 to dairies and milkshops,
and 14 to greengrocers' shops.
The following amounts of foodstuffs were condemned:—32
stone of fish, 35 lbs. of winkles, two Danish
smoked collars, 28 tins of condensed milk, 14 tins of
various fruits and 5 lbs. of raspberries.
