C. Proceedings under Sections 19 and 21 of the Housing Act, 1930:—

(1)Number of dwelling-houses in respect of which Demolition Orders were made4
(2)Number of dwelling-houses demolished in pursuance of Demolition OrdersNil.
D. Proceedings under Section 20 of the Housing Act, 1930 :—
(1)Number of separate tenements or underground rooms in respect of which Closing Orders were madeNil.
(2)Number of separate tenements or underground rooms in respect of which Closing Orders were determined, the tenement or room having been rendered fitNil.

Houses Let in Lodgings.
At the end of the year there were 12 premises
registered as houses let in lodgings to which 45 visits
were paid.
Byelaws are in force in the district governing these
houses. Some provisions of these byelaws will be
superseded by the Housing Act, 1935. It is also
anticipated that a new series of byelaws will be issued
under this Act, and Local Authorities will have
discretionary powers as to their being adopted.
