visits was paid. The following table shows the number

Swimming Baths.
The open air bath at Valence Park was put to full
use during the year and in order to check the efficiency
of the filtration plant samples of the water were
submitted for analysis at least once but frequently
twice during each month that it was in use.
Schools.
As stated in previous reports, with few exceptions
the schools in Dagenham are of a modern type and in
all cases the sanitation and water supply are
satisfactory.
During the year Triptons Senior School. Warren
Council School, Chadwell Heath and St. Joseph's R.C.
School were opened. During the same period under
the County Education Committee's reorganisation
scheme, Ford's Endowed School, Chadwell Heath was
closed.
