The same laboratory also undertakes the bacteriological
examination of milk, of which 139 samples were submitted during
the year.
683 swabs were examined for diphtheria bacillus at the
Public Health Offices.

Byelaws governing Removal of House Refuse were confirmed
on 23rd August, 1934.
Byelaws governing Nuisances in connection with the Removal
of Offensive and Noxious Matters were confirmed 27th November,
1934.
Byelaws governing the Transport and Exposure for Sale of
food were confirmed 12th December, 1934.
