The Dagenham Urban District Council Act, 1931, was passed
during the year. A summary of its sanitary provisions was given
in the 1930 report.
The last Census having disclosed that the local population
is over 20,000, the administration of the following Acts is in the
hands of the Local Authority :—
Shops Acts, 1912 to 1930.
Blind Persons Act, 1920.
Old Age Pensions Acts, 1908 to 1924.
