Occupations of Inhabitants.
Owing to the slower pace of housing erection in the district,
there was a large reduction in the number of men employed
in the building trade. On 17th May, 1929 took place the
formal ceremony, marking the beginning of the erection of
the local Works for the manufacture of Ford cars.
