BACTERIOLOGICAL EXAMINATION OF CREAM
42 samples of fresh cream were examined with the following
results

BACTERIOLOGICAL EXAMINATION OF ICE CREAM
151 samples were taken, the results being:—

The majority of these samples consisted of "soft" ice cream and the
results indicate a general improvement in the standards of handling this
product.
CHEMICAL EXAMINATION OF ICE CREAM
Eleven samples were taken from local shops and all were found to
comply with the standard.
FOOD AND DRUGS ACT, 1955
During the year, 141 samples of milk and cream, and 300 other samples
were taken, of which number, 17 were found to be "Not Genuine", details
of which are set out below:—
