Mental Health Act 1959
Details of admissions of all categories of patient under different sections of the Mental Health Act are given below:-

On 31st December 1964 eight patients were awaiting hospital
beds.
Guardianship
Five patients were placed under the guardianship of the
Local Authority and six were discharged from guardianship (two
being admitted to hospital) bringing the total to twenty two.
Training Centres
(i) Junior Training Centre
Some difficulties were encountered during the year when
part of one wing of the Centre was demolished to make way for a
new purpose built adult training centre. Temporary re-organisations
have been effected and meanwhile plans are being prepared
for a new junior training centre.
