During the year 9 students, 8 of them from various Universities
have visited the Croydon Psychiatric Social Service
for varying periods of practical work in connection with their
training courses. The calls on the Social Workers of the service
for participation in training schemes for Social Workers, is
likely to increase in the future, and in this connection mention
should be made of the new general training in social work which
is to commence at the Croydon Technical College in September
1963.
