Prosecutions
A fins of bakers pleaded guilty to 15 summonses under the
Food Hygiene Regulations in respect of unsatisfactory conditions
at a local bakehouse. The Court imposed fines totalling £105,
with 10 guineas costs.
The proprietor of a cafe pleaded guilty to 16 summonses relating
to contraventions of the Food Hygiene Regulations. The
Court imposed fines totalling £48, with 2 guineas costs.
A firm of local bakers pleaded guilty to a summons relating
to the sale of a gateaux which was affected with mould and unfit
for consumption. The court imposed a fine of £2, with one guinea
costas.
